Weird, Wild Stuff

I have to start with this one. This is a microwave I bought at the ISU junk warehouse for $3 just so I could take out some anger on it. Well, it also had a neat scan-card thing I wanted to keep, but it was mainly for the breaking. The thing that really makes this picture great for me though is the tape on the broken glass door. If it's hard to read or if you just want a bigger picture, here's a (slightly) larger version. (640x480)

I have no idea. This is just some found art that I had to take a picture of. Dormitory bathroom. Everybody was going up to people who hadn't seen it yet and saying "You gotta check out the huge log somebody left in the shitters!" It's incidental things like this that make me truly glad I have my own camera.

This is a circus peanut dipped in pistachio pudding. I think I lost some Sanity Points when I ate it. The combination of textures is strange to say the least, but overall it was pretty good. Or at least I hope it was, since kept eating the weird little things. I think the inspiration for this particular culinary experiment had something to do with the idea that it would look kinda like a carrot, thus coming much closer to being a vegetable than most everything else I eat.

Yeah, this is some digital photo manipulation, so it's not really that unusual. But I still think it's neat. That's my grandmother, placed into one of her soft-crayon sketches. She used to paint a lot, but now she has a hard time holding brushes so she draws with these soft crayon-like things. After I did made this picture my parents printed it out and gave it to her. They tried to explain how we did it, but I don't think it worked.

Darth Pikachu! Boredom, a digital camera, and an assortment of geeky toys gets you this. Yes, I like Pokemon. The sheer insane levels of cuteness and all. I'll even go all old school on you and say I liked Pokemon back before most people in America had even heard of it, so there. There's just something about the inherent marketability of that original gameboy game: the very premise is to collect all these monsters, and then we'll just make a stuffed toy for each one so you can be just like the hero of the game! That, and the wisdom of "Wow, the world is filled with all these wonderful cute little lovable creatures. Let's make them beat each other up! WooHOO! Look at my cute little guy kick ass!"
