Pink Ass Monkey, the Babboon Critic: This strip is a highlight of what passes for socio-political commentary amoung amateur cartoonists, I am led to believe. My experiences with internet viewers, however, cause me to suspect that the premise set forth in the first panel will be completely misinterpreted by the majority of the audience and likely not even read by a significant portion thereof. Fortunately for this strip, such readers that miss the quasi-intellectual humour will be pleasantly distracted by the mildly psychedelic colours and Mr. Gabriel's appearance in the final segment. We can reasonably conclude that this audience-broadening effect was completely unintentional on the part of the "artist".
