These are just things I write, okay? Sometimes they're profound insights or funny stories and I'm really proud of them. Other times it's mindless rhetoric that I've since completely changed my mind about and am ashamed of. But most of the time it's just words.

Daywalker

Sunday was my first day on first shift. It was also the first real snowstorm of winter. The day was cold, bleak, icy, and miserable. In other words it suited my mood perfectly. You see, my loss of third shift was not what you would call voluntary. The shift is gone, entirely. Bastards. Now I have to put up with traffic, daylight, calling customers, six times more people at work, telemarketters, management, etc. By the time I made it home, through shitty roads and worse drivers, I was thoroughly ready to hate everyone and everything. That and some other ridiculous nuisances and some concern for the welfare of a friend; stuff I don't really want to get into today, made everything freaking peachy.

One upside though: Maybe now that I'm sleeping when it's dark out I'll actually take the blankets off my windows. However, I may then miss the Dank. The Dank, people. Dank.
