The Original David Bowie's Area Webpage

This webpage contains several pictures of David Bowie's Area, some of them quite revealing, and if you lack the deductive powers to have figured out that clicking on the "Photography" link on a page covered with pictures of David Bowie's Area would lead you to more pictures of David Bowie's Area you probably shouldn't be viewing ANY webpages, schmuck.

Bowie's Area...

Here we have David Bowie (because what else did you come to this site for, really?) dressed in drag. For some reason. Or perhaps for no reason at all. Whether actions truly have motives became the subject of some debate amoung the DBA Institute upon viewing this particular photo, and the issue was further complicated by the very strong possibility that temporal causality may not apply as we understand it, or indeed at all, to David Bowie or particularly to his Area, thus rendering the entire concept of action justification wholly irrelevant, which we were forced to admit, since our purpose was to discuss the picture here displayed, it actually already was.*

It really comes as no surprise to see David Bowie in a dress, whether it was intentional on his part or not. What is truly remarkable, though, is that this picture is probably the LEAST feminine-looking we've ever seen Bowie. Compare it to a typical picure of Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust persona, or as Jareth in Labyrinth, or buying shoes on a Wednesday, and you'll see exactly what we mean. Bowie is the premier androgynous rockstar, and as we see hear putting on more definitively female clothing only makes him appear more masculine.

A few of the more amatuerish interns suggested that this picture, unlike the others in our vast database, doesn't clearly show David Bowie's Area. While the webmaster will attest that wearing a dress does indeed provide a refreshing freedom of movement (and ample space) for the wearer's Area, our esteemed panel of expert Areaologist would like to point out that the interns in question are not only mistaken, but also drunken idiots. David Bowie's Area is very clearly pictured in this... picture. It's right behind him, forming the upper portion of his shadow.

*Wholly irrelevant, in case you couldn't follow that.
