April Fools, Suckers!

My sister is getting married tomorrow to Dr. Bob. She's a minister and he's a professional traffic safety... guy. They went wedding-ring shopping on their first date. But that makes sense because they'd already been engaged for some time before that. Though I don't think either of them ever proposed.

I'm in the wedding. I'm a bridesmaid.

The first wedding present they received was a Rice Cooker from a Hugo Award-winning science fiction author. (Not me.) That means it's a Rice Cooker from SPACE!

An estimated 15% of the wedding guests will blog the event. There's a pretty good chance the newlyweds themselves will post something online at least once during the honeymoon. And why not? They'll be pretending to be pirates and going to Hogwarts during the honeymoon anyway.

I bought them a comic strip for their wedding present.

Speaking of comics, SIN CITY comes out today, and it's going to win an Oscar.
(Cinematography is my bet.)
