These are just things I write, okay? Sometimes they're profound insights or funny stories and I'm really proud of them. Other times it's mindless rhetoric that I've since completely changed my mind about and am ashamed of. But most of the time it's just words.

Two days ago, in the Fun page that coincides with the day I announced the site's new URL, I used a joke essentially stolen from one of K. Thor Jensen's forum posts. It's the "and a seperate desk for my crotch" line. I mention this for the following reasons:

  • It's only fair to give credit where credit is due.

  • K.Thor is incredibly cool. Most of his writing on A Short and Happy Life is sheer genius (be sure to read the "yesterdays") and he runs Portal of Evil, which is entertaining if you like laughing at really pathetic web pages. And I can only assume that you do.

  • I don't think I could hold a candle to K.Thor in the fields of bitterness, self-loathing, others-loathing, wit, flame, and creative repulsiveness, which seem so important on the internet today.

  • K.Thor is really funny, and is one of my heroes, so I wanted a reason to link to his page a whole bunch in one page.
