These are just things I write, okay? Sometimes they're profound insights

Wrapping
Wrapping Christmas presents is an excellent illustration of the differences between Theory and Practice. In Theory, getting nice, crisp corners and folds in your Christmas presents should be a simple application of basic geometry. In Practice, presents wrapped by me tend to look like crap.
PS: Is it just me or are "gift receipts" really just a slightly less tacky way to give somebody a gift certificate at that store?
