Okay, I know I'm pretty glib about some fairly sensitive subjects around here, and if anyone's been offended... Well, that'll happen I guess. I'm not going to apologize, if I did I might as well take the pages down. But anyway, that's not the point. Today I'm going to set aside the wisecracks and have a frank discussion about a very serious problem that's threatening our society:

Pornography on the Internet

As a webpage author I do feel somewhat like a part of this whole online community idea, and as such I am shocked and dismayed at the level of pornography that is available over the internet. I'd like to point out that most of the pornography online isn't just pictures of women without their clothes on, the relatively tasteful type of images found in such hardcopy periodicals as Playboy. No, on the internet I've seen graphic pictures, movies, and streaming video of sexual acts most people wouldn't have thought possible. Whether it's a couple, multiple women pleasing one man, many men filling out one women, or any combination of lesbian, gay, or bisexual people licking, groping, inserting, sucking, strapping on, spanking, posing, stripping, tying up, eating, beating, and ejaculating all over each other, the internet has pornography of any disgusting or degrading thing a moral reprobate could possibly want to stimulate his deviant urges. But the thing that truly offends my sense of basic human decency is the one thing that all of these pornographic websites have in common, from the pages offering "barely legal" amatuers to the enormous video archives, every website based on pornography shares this one despicable trait: The pay for access "members only" section is a complete ripoff. Seriously, it's never worth it. Once you get in the password protected part of the page the "1000's of pics" they talk about are usually really the same 10 images they had out front for a sample and 100 links to other pay-sites that have 10 pics each. Or all of the movies they said you'd get once you'd paid are short, low resolution clips with no sound. Why, just the other day I was in the members only section of a self-described "hardcore porn site" and all of the "live streaming sex chat" was just streaming video of a woman in her underwear sitting at a keyboard. None of them did ANYTHING and when people in the chat would ask them to be more naked they'd say to go to a private 1 on 1 show, which costs extra! The viewer's already paid to see a live sex show and they have the nerve to demand more money to see a live sex show with any sex. It doesn't get much more morally reprehensible than that, folks. Our children have to be protected.
I just thank god that as a moral crusader in these matters I've never actually paid for any of the passwords I use to access this vile pornography.
