These are just things I write, okay? Sometimes they're profound insights or funny stories and I'm really proud of them. Other times it's mindless rhetoric that I've since completely changed my mind about and am ashamed of. But most of the time it's just words.

Tapped Out

My brain's a little dry. The part that puts one word next to another to make a cent ants has been a fine gray powder for a few days. I must keep the mind wet.

You see, I like to pretend I'm a writer. I also enjoy roleplaying games. So when I found out that Sword and Sorcery Studios was having an open writer's call for their Scarred Lands anthology, I had to try to get out a good short story by the deadline. One week, 7600 words, and several minor revisions later I'm a little burned out and eagerly awaiting word of whether or not my work is actually going to get published.

I haven't been this twitched out on fear of rejection since the first time I asked a girl out. Okay, since the first several times I asked girls out. Well, alright, since every time. Bite me.
